"New Generations" was adopted as the Fifth Avenue of Service in The Council on Legislation 2010 and was implemented with effect from 1 July, 2010.
The Rotary theme is "Reach Within to Embrace Humanity" this year. In District 3450, we develop our willingness to meet the need, doing small things with great love and commit ourselves fully. We start with ourselves and reach within ourselves, move on confidently, firmly; toward the targets we have set for ourselves; discover ourselves, develop the strengths within us, and then unhesitatingly, unflinchingly, go forth and encircle the world, to embrace humanity.
"New Generations" represent our powerful, vigorous and sophisticated family members who are our yearning successors in future. With full exertion, we provide them with our available resources and networks to support leadership development and guide them to learn to be true leaders with our programmes and activities.
"New Generations" are Rotary's structural youth services that include Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) and Youth Exchange. Our district has involved all these youth services long before it was adopted as Rotary's 5th Avenue of Service. All of which along with a Rotary District Project performed by young people will be introduced one by one as below. Read more...
