52nd District Conference Newsletter

My Dear Fellow Rotarians,

The 52 District Conference, themed “Reach Within to Embrace Humanity”, is to be held on May 19-20 at the Regal Airport Hotel.

The Conference promises to be an excitingly ground-breaking one. To begin with, this is the first time our District Conference is graced by the presence of an RI President. We are thus anticipating a record attendance to showcase our strength, unity and Rotary Spirit to our RI President, and to ourselves.

New Generation, the future of Rotary, is the major focus of the 52nd District Conference. Our Rotaractors are taking on a major role this year, from preparation to presentation. Likewise, the program will place strong emphasis on the New Generation from the unprecedented Opening Ceremony performance by the Rotaractors and Interactors, to the many paired MCs of Rotarians & Rotaractors and the speakers’ topics. Our Rotaractors and Interactors will indeed have a high visibility at the 52nd District Conference. Vincent - Version 2

The Call-for-Papers this year has taken on a new and exciting dimension and meaning. DG David, Secretary General PP Alice Tsang and I will expound on this in our emails to the Presidents.

We are joining forces with DG David’s office to produce a ground-breaking Year Book in an unprecedented format and presentation. It is a Rotary breakthrough for our District and surely a keepsake for all Rotarians to treasure.

Most importantly, it is only with your wholehearted participation and ardent support will the 52nd District Conference be a reality and a success. I and my team of dedicated Committee Members are committed to give 110% of our utmost best to make the 52 District Conference one that you totally enjoy attending, one that you’ll talk about with pride for years to come!

Your ideas and suggestions to make your Conference one that you will be proud of are very important to me. Rest assured that I am most receptive to what you have to say with opened arms.
