District Governers Message

My Dear Rotarian Brothers & Sisters,

This year's District Conference is going to be very special. David Harilela District Governor 2011 - 2012

We are honored to have the pleasure and company of our Rotary International President, Kalyan Banerjee with us from May 19th - 20th, 2012.

This is a first for our District and this will be the first time our Rotarians from Hong Kong, Macau & Mongolia will have the opportunity to mix, mingle and talk with our RI President.

The event is being held at the Regal Airport Hotel and we will be ably hosted by

President of the Year for 2010-11, PP Belinda Yeung.

District Conference Chair, PP Vincent Lam has been hard at work on this & promises us a lot of fun coupled with many more surprises to come.

So please block these dates on your calendar & I look forward to seeing you all at our 2012 District Conference.

My Dear Fellow Rotarians,

The 52 District Conference, themed “Reach Within to Embrace Humanity”, is to be held on May 19-20 at the Regal Airport Hotel.

The Conference promises to be an excitingly ground-breaking one. To begin with, this is the first time our District Conference is graced by the presence of an RI President. We are thus anticipating a record attendance to showcase our strength, unity and Rotary Spirit to our RI President, and to ourselves.

The 52nd Rotary District Conference 2012, themed "Reach Within to Embrace Humanity", is coming~! It'll be held on May 19-20 at the Regal Airport Hotel. We're very happy that New Generations, including Rotaract, are the major focus of this upcoming District Conference, in which Rotaract will play a quite significant role.

Welcome to the 52nd Rotary International, District 3450, District Conference 2012 website.

Our IT team hope that the features and facilities here will make your attendance at the District Conference enjoyable, informative and useful.

We have taken a fresh look at how we organize the event, data, registration PR and are pooling the resources of our Organizing Committee and its extensive experience to bring you the best information we can.

Our focus as the IT department is to reflect the ambitions of the conference and make it easy for you to attend.

We made a few design choices early on:

Notably that Registration On-Line and payment On-Line is a requirement.

While we anticipate this may be a problem for some let me first explain why we did it and then how we will try to mitigate any problems.

On-Line Registration allows us to budget properly for the event, and to minimize waste.
On-Line Payment allows us to receive timely and correct payment for the services we offer, and to pay our bills on time.
To let our Registrar know who is coming and enable him to contact attendees with timely updates and messages.
